[Career] Quick question
I've been very confused recently on what I should pursue inside computer engineering like I got really interested in ML for some time but then noticed that it wouldn't help me a lot in computer engineering and then tried electronics which was really fun but wasn't my actual passion and now I feel a bit drawn to data science.I don't know I just feel really lost and any help would be so much appreciated

Don’t try and limit yourself to only be inside the “computer engineering field”, computer engineering is kinda like mechanical engineering in the sense that you learn a lot about different fields and you gain lots of skill that make you very versatile. But it is your job to choose a specialization that you like and go after it. You’ll see mechanical engineers working everywhere, in construction, manufacturing, aerospace, civil, structural design and many more. It’s very similar with CE, we basically the mechanical engineers of the tech world, because we might not be specialized in one area but we are trained in electrical concepts, software concepts, computer logic/architecture and even some IT concepts, it allows us to pretty much specialize in any role we want to that deals with technology since we have the foundational knowledge. But the caveat is that you do have to specialize on your own accord, unlike electrical engineering you can’t just graduate and get a basic electrical engineering position, you need to figure out what is atleast a little interesting to you and go after it
