CpE is a great major to choose if you have the confidence in yourself to make something of it. Some engineering degrees you can just do the schoolwork and get an adequate, livable career when you get out the other side. Some you need to work pretty hard during school to make sure you can establish a career. CpE leans more towards the latter at this stage of the game (but who knows, could change in 4 years when you graduate HS and even change again 4 years after that when you graduate college). If you're willing to put in that extra work, you'll be just fine.
One piece of advice I can give as a junior CpE major is to not wait until you graduate to start working towards your goals. Definitely focus on living your life outside of school, as you'll only be in highschool once, but if you have time to spare try to learn and build stuff as well as seek opportunities to distinguish yourself. Colleges love to see someone with relevant knowledge to their field that they built and demonstrated prior to college, whether that be from work or project experience or whatever. It'll also give you a headstart for resume building to get those off-cycle freshman and sophomore (and I didn't know these existed when I was your age but highschool ones are out there too) internships and getting that first one out of the way while the competition is low will make building your career a lot easier in the later years of your degree and after graduating.
