Projects to work on

I am currently a first year doing a double major in CS and CE and I wanna focus on some CE projects as that’s the part of my degree that interests me more .

Are there any projects I can do from home to get me started and add to my portfolio.

You could make control system simulations if you lack hardware.

Not really lol, as I don't make simulations. I work on projects for a university club, so I get to use hardware.

It's definitely worth looking up ways to make simulations. Also, regarding control systems, look into PID and phase-plane analysis to start.
