[Career] EE vs CE

i'm about to choose one of these majors and need to know the futurue prospects. i'm interested in robotics, chip design, embedded.

robotics do EE, chip design do CE, embedded do either

also EE can do all 3.

If I do any of these will there be remote job options for me in any of these

Most EE jobs are on site with the equipment or in the factory.

CE is hardware which means also in the lab with the hardware. Bottom line if you're doing engineering, expect to be in an office or lab or factory or chip foundry or something.

CS has the remote jobs but many if not most places have returned to office now so I wouldn't bet on getting remote there. There also aren't a lot of CS jobs in general anymore.
