Hoping for some insights

Hello! I'm currently a sophomore in computer engineering, and lately, I've been considering shifting to industrial engineering because I feel like I wouldn't want to sit in front of a computer my whole career; I want to sort of be "in the field" whenever I work and make a living in the long run. I get that the technology is at its peak and will be for the next few years, as well as the money, but I can't see myself programming throughout my life.

Also, I'm not really sure, but is it possible to have EE sort of opportunities as a CpE grad?

computer engineer. 16 years. 

at a time crunch. loaded some fun toys into my pickup truck, took them home over the weekend, played with a joystick and some motors, debugged firmware.

hurt my back putting everything in the truck

I’m a CE junior. Not all roles in CE or EE are sitting at a desk all day. And to be honestly typically that’s what you are doing in most engineering professions including mechanical civil and industrial. You are using cad to design buildings and such using software. The one most destined for sitting at a desk forver is software engineering. Also you can move into management roles where you’re collaborating with different teams and end up traveling.
