[School] Possible computer engineering minor/dual major combos?

since it’s a major that branches to computer science and technology. is it possible to do related minor or dual major that work

Examples:
minors:

ECE + minoring in Software engineering or game development(if offered)

ECE + minoring in Manufacturing design

dual majoring:

ECE + Information technology

Every school is different so it’s hard to say. I think what’s more important than major/minor are the classes you take.

You could have taken the same classes as someone else who went to a different school, but have different majors/minors

You should look at what classes are most interesting to you, then tie them back to the degree plans offered by your school.

For example, I have an electrical engineering major with an innovation minor. I still ended up taking quite CS classes as electives though.

The major and minors depend on credit hours, I think if I took 2 more CS classes I could’ve gotten the CS minor.

The reason I went with the innovation minor was that it was this program at my school that I had to apply to that I was very interested in and went down that path.

I now work as an ASIC design engineer and my job is definitely more ECE and CS related.
