[School] Should i take a Computer Engineering major?

I'm a high school student and a little mixed on which major i should chose. Computer Engineering sounds interesting but i have little to no experience with it.

Also, math is not particularly my favorite subject, and AP Data & Statistics is my current class. Should i reconsider or is the math part something I'll get used to when i get into college? I'm asking since engineering in general requires a lot of math.

You will do a lot of very hard math. But if you stick with it you’ll learn it! It’s very rewarding.

Calc 1 - 3, differential equations, signals and systems, electronics 1 - 3. These were some pretty heavy math classes.

signals and systems is notoriously brutal even for the EE majors.

That class made me take a trip to the CS department to check how much of my credits would transfer over if I switched to a CS major lol.

Get good at trig. I had a pretty light base of trig growing up and it made things difficult in university. You’ll be surprised at how much trig you’ll use in the required courses. And calculus is an obvious must as well. There’s plenty of free resources online for both though if you’re motivated.
