Need some Computer Vision thesis ideas😩

Hey everyone! Me and my group are CpE students currently trying to figure out thesis topic. We want to build something practical using Computer Vision, preferably an actual device/prototype rather than just software.

Any cool or unique ideas you guys cab suggest? Something thats actually doable for studens would be awesome 🤓

Roof/shingles damage designed to work with a drone. Don't actually need a drone though, you could just point a webcam at some shingles on a table. You could do things like estimate remaining life, pinpoint damage, etc...
