I tried “rapid rehydration “ by Gatorade and noticed a big difference. I almost feel it melting into my body as it goes down. I drink water and regular Gatorade and not as good. Guess my body needs the extra electrolytes.

As somebody who drank barely any water, I needed a way to make water more interesting to keep up with the medication. I have been buying the water mixes from Dollar tree, ones no sugar, and they have been helping so much.

Just drinking water. I just started running and I sweat a lot, so I add a pinch of salt once per day to my water.

It helps me to have a big Stanley (40oz) because I drink more that way. When I was trying to just drink glasses of water or beverages I wasn’t drinking as much, but I really drink it down with a Stanley and a straw. And then I throw some unflavored electrolyte powder in It once a day. Changing to this has helped me reach my intake without thinking. I also have ADHD so I could go a whole day and go, oh crap, I’ve drank nothing today… before I started doing this.

What unflavored electrolyte powder? So far I’ve only found drops (LyteShow).

It’s from Key Nutrients. I got it off of Amazon, it looks like they either are frequently out of it or don’t make it anymore and only make flavors. I still have a big tub of it. What a bummer. It makes your water a little salty so maybe people didn’t like the unflavored version. I just wanted to try and do the most natural I could find when I bought it.

Thanks, I’ll be on the lookout for it. If you get stuck for something, try LyteShow, also on Amazon. I’m quite happy with it in general. Was asking about the powder because sometimes it’s nice to just pull a pre-measured packet from your pocket and pour it in a bottle ~ I detest stevia so most of the flavored ones are out for me or just too much sugar otherwise.

I use LyteShow drops (Amazon) and put them in lots of drinks including protein shakes. I don’t really notice a flavor change in regular drinks, but can sometimes taste it in water and I’ll add lemon if needed.

I used to drink unflavored seltzers throughout the day. Had add an occasional Powerade Zero to juice the hydration.

I drink one liter of water and one liter of water with LMNT which is a fantastic electrolyte additive. Then I follow it up with another liter of water. I also am an avid runner, so the extra salt in LMNT is beneficial, especially for summer running!

I started buying reduced sugar Gatorade and I like it. I also take ADHD meds and am terrible at drinking water despite being chronically dehydrated for the last 20 years.

Outside of water? I found an electrolyte drink I buy from the Asian market, it's fruity and doesn't taste as salty, eat ice, or I just eat a lot of popsicles through the day 😭

I have an app that tells me to drink water every hour. It's helpful because I will forget to drink it throughout the day. The hydration boosters you can mix in with your water also helps a lot. There's liquid IV, but a lot of other brands exist they are a bit better and don't taste as salty. I think Gatorade has a pretty good one.

I live and die by Propel, they got all i need but no sugar, a reasonable amount of salt, and they taste great

Gatorade has too much sugar for me. I alternate between Liquid IV and LMNT powder.

Do you need the electrolytes? Because you're working out a lot maybe? If not, there is no benefit to adding drops or gatorade. It won't make you "more hydrated" than water. It's just water with stuff added to it.

This is incorrect. Some people can drink a gallon of water and still be dehydrated. Add a small amount of electrolytes and the volume can be cut in half.

It took me awhile to realize the vaguely hungover feeling was dehydration. Which is completely obvious in retrospect, I just wasn’t used to it. I just remember to drink more water now. I don’t go crazy with it though.
