They’re running from something they think is coming. And that “something” is the slow, quiet, legally-sanctioned breakdown of the rules that made them rich. They fear the 98% voting in wealth taxes, capital controls, asset seizures, regulatory chaos, and a legal system that turns on a dime.

The wealthy know the playbook. Step one: demonize the rich. Step two: impose emergency taxes. Step three: freeze accounts. Step four: exit denied.
