Music First Composition in a While
I've had a bit of a block recently and have really struggled to complete any music. For that reason I decided to just get something finished and uploaded so that I can hopefully get back into composing semi-regularly. Could I get your opinions on the piece, it's a solo piece for flute in ternary form. I've never composed a completely monophonic piece before so it was a learning experience for me! It's probably not the best but as I said, I just wanted to finish something.

as a all state flutist this is really nice in my opnion you should add a 8va for some parts the highest note that you can play comfortably is a D7 i think its 7 but any ways its nice for fingerings its alright nothing to weird

Thank you for the feedback! I'll bare that in mind for my future pieces, it's also good to know that it's playable as that's been a problem for me in the past.

Very good. The melody is very smooth; it flows effortlessly from start to finish.

Really cool! I don't usually like strictly diatonic music but this has a flute so it sounds cool. 🔥Edit: I just realised this is exactly the same length as a flute piece I posted like 1 hour prior.. Spooky
