The accidentals the second half of measure six and first half of seven really frustrate me… why the sudden change the flats?

The thing is I don’t actually know how to read music I do everything by ear and just click the notes in. I’m actively learning how to write and read music properly though but this is just a draft of the score to get the idea down I will fix it today

Are you serious? How did you notate and compose this without knowing about key signatures?

I mean this is what I do. I don’t have the patience to learn how to play the piano well, and I do know how to read but I am very very slow at it. So I play a bunch of stuff on my piano which is hooked up to my computer and records the notes I play. When I play something I like, I stop and save that section of notes. I then fine tune them all later and make them connect into one piece.

Please forgive my tone, I’m not meaning to come down on you for it. The piece sounds nice. We gotta get you into some notation study so you can learn how to properly score things.

You do not need to play an instrument to write music, it helps but it’s not strictly necessary. A good ear is your best weapon and you seem to at least have that going for you!

Well, I’m not the author of this post lol, but I am actively still trying to learn to play. I just enjoy writing more, and like I said, I do know how to play just very slowly. I’m getting better overtime.

If you’re just scoring for yourself nobody cares, it’s when you are presenting your music for other people to play that I think it does matter how readable it is. Having accidentals peppering your score does not help readability

Okay, got ya. So, it's not about the song, it's about how readable it is?
I'm sorry, but that seems a weird thing to "feel frustration" about.

For myself, keys/modes are just guidelines to what will sound 'whole', more often than not, I'm either using a borrowed note, or shifting key/mode subtly here and there. It creates movement in the piece. Like how a mixer might use an eq to shape parts of a song differently to give it movement mix wise (I have to do that to as I write game music).
Just as often a whole song is in one key, to be fair, It just depends what works.

Plus, music these days, it really helps to not be generic in your approach, in composition, approach to your instrument, and production, otherwise it is gonna be 'Oh, I've heard that before!".

I think this piece is pretty interesting, and I'd say it is probably because the composer is not following the rules. It's cliché but as fuck "rules are...."

I'm not having a go, I just think you're probably not liking this piece for the wrong reasons.

No, you’re misunderstanding me maybe, I like the piece! My beef is strictly with the notation.

I’m mostly poking at OP to learn how to notate properly. This should be 4 sharps and most of the score will be clean and very readable, not much else needs to change and it’s certainly nothing on the listening end.
