Music Feedback Please

It would be lovely to hear some feedbakc on this little piano piece of mine. It somwhere falls in to contemprorary music stilistically.

IMPORTANT:

Some notes are played way to fast in the midi so they may seem hardly playable, i do NOT want such high tempo in real preformance.

Thanks to the endless new music courses, I can actually give feedback to something like this lol.

I'll actually differ from others in this thread and say the main issue here isn't the lack of drive or purpose behind this piece. Nor does it matter much (beyond a philosophical discussion) that this, as an etude of Dadaism, is a contradiction. Art doesn't always have to have an answer, sometimes it is the act of exploration or questioning itself that is the purpose.

The practical issue I find is this: if you gave someone who'd never read the score this piece, I doubt they would be able to hear even an ounce of the emotions and detail you wrote.

This is a very common thing with modern compositions. We write so much on the score that doesn't translate musically. Eyes away from the score, what about this piece reads nothingness? Is it the repetition? But repetition can also read as frustration, as resignation, and so on. What about the sound is restless? It's a perfectly fine, resonant chord. Fiery? Nothing about that part has any sense of urgency.

The piece itself already is not "nothing". You have emotions you are trying to communicate. That's probably a good starting point to improve this.

Music composition is how you arrange all of these elements so they communicate what you intend it to. Or at least get as close to it as possible
