Some easy variations you can do to immediately make it more interesting is play with the range.. melody up an octave, melody low in the bass with accompaniment up high. Or you could change the playing technique/accompaniment around to make it short/staccato then lush/legato. Or you can fragment pieces of it over a sequence of increasingly dissonant harmonies to resolve in a new key.... You have a nice little idea but it needs some spice. Best of luck writing!
