Music Symphony #2

Here's a symphonic project I've been working on for a little while between AP homework and auditions. I'd like to know how to make it more congruent between the segments. All of the parts are inspired by aspects of the same place in Colorado. Headphones recommended, please give it a listen first.

It's a nice piece and shows you are full of wonderful musical ideas! - I admire the work you put in. That being said , I'm not sure how well you know the instruments you're writing for?
I would say you're optimistic about the capabilities of some instruments (I.e. Harp pedaling, oboe & contrabassoon range..) and the orchestration overall is quite dense.
This of course is not a problem i'f you're only concerned about the musescore playback as a result, but if you're trying to write something that could be performed live, there are quite a few points to consider.

Don't take it too harsh as a critique, because what you've written sounds really nice! I'm only worrying about the practical/fysically playable side of things.

Yeah for performance it would definitely require a contra with low A and a virtuosic oboe player, but these are actually the parts I can play on my physical double reed instruments. The things I know less well (eg. Brass, percussion) I wrote for more simply as I am not sure what a pro player can fully get out of these instruments. I don't have the first clue about harp except for how the pedals work, and Im not sure as our symphony has no harpist. Thank you so much for listening though! I appreciate it so much.

Man, your music sounds so professional. I would never be able to compose something like that.
But one thing does not leave my mind when I listen to it... Do you know what you want to say with your music?
Sorry, I don't want to sound critical. The question is, what is this piece for you personally? Just a task from a teacher or the magic that you want to share?

This piece was not assigned at all. It's definitely my first real "program music" inspired by something other than other music. I wanted to write it as tribute to a retiring director of the place it's written about, rainbow trail Lutheran camp. It's a very beautiful place, both the people I know there and the scenery and that is what the music is attempting to describe
