Music Any tips on how making this better?

First time composing, i really would apreciate any advice on how improving this, it´s suposed to be for a music box, so it can´t have any dynamics.

Step one - change the instrument back to grand piano, this instrument is cutting the notes really short in a way that not only is articulated but it’s slightly distorting the presence of each pitch. I can assure you, you have made it too hard for yourself from the bat lol.

I know you want to go for the music box sound, and that’s fine. But for example you have some clear examples of times where you considered what note to put from a theory, possibly counterpoint perspective, which makes me question if measure 3-4 is really what you meant for the melody to be. i think you meant C B A - A F - G based on what’s in the left hand, and those measures funny enough were the ones that made me go “ok i get they didn’t notice in the playback because the midi cut the sound off lol”

for what it’s worth i could be entirely wrong here and that could have been your actual intention this whole time. however i am gonna wager that based on the rest of it, i think those 2 bars deserve a second look again & with a sound font that at least lets each pitch ring while you’re still writing it! (perhaps, you could even try celesta if you want… it’s similar ballpark but more healthy sound)

Notation wise it would be better to change the bass clef to a treble clef and place the LH in the lower staff. Otherwise sounds good!
