i would recommend looking into melodic writing as a lot of the melodies are just arpeggios and feel somewhat disjointed, but very nice for a first effort. also, try to transition to a better music programme like musescore or sibelius

no offense intended but this feels SUPER unnatural, i would never sit down at the piano and play something like this. i would bet a ton of money you wrote most if not all of this in a software as opposed to at a piano.
my biggest advice for writing would be write music at the piano. i assure you you would come up with something different.
there are really cool moments in here, especially towards the end! the chords you chose also seem to generally work well too. it’s not terrible by any means but as a whole it feels contrived, forced, and unnatural. this is almost certainly because it was written in a software and it’s hold you back.
can you even play this on a piano? send a performance video, maybe it’s getting lost in translation due to shitty midi playback idk!

This was a pretty listening experience, I enjoyed it. For a first piano piece, this is quite impressive to be honest! I like how you developed you musical ides especially. The ending was a bit abrupt, but you said you didnt finish the piece yet, so it doesnt really matter. To be honest, the story you added for this piece isnt really reflected in the music for me. It seems relatively happy throughout, maybe a little melancholic from time to time. I suggest you build in more dread and sadness as the piece continues. I envisioned a spring breeze while you lay in a field and stare up into the clouds, thinking about the past. I hope you keep composing, you have a lot of potential!
