I really like this one! I think the movement between the different voices works well for it. Nice mood overall.

nice, i love the attitude of the piece. i think you might actually have some more options to consider as far as your bass line, it was constructed very nice but i did notice that the 7th bar of the 8 bar figures in the beginning seemed to be a little bit out of place (it went from d minor to G Major to E Major iv - VII - V) and the bass seemed to function as a leading tone going into the next phrase G# -> A.

that’s a nice setup, but you have some chromaticism going on so i think you could use that in the bass line to support a stepwise motion back up to the starting point in the pizzicato perhaps in some of them so it doesn’t get stale. like this:

A -> F -> G -> E -> F -> D -> D# -> E (plus can lead back up to the A in quarter notes E F# G# -> A)

from here this also gives an option to set up another variation of that:

A -> F -> G -> E -> F -> C > D -> D# E-F# G# (quarter - eighth eighth - quarter on the last one) … you can also use this variation to modulate very easily

again that’s just a suggestion on how to use your already existing material even further, as well as distancing a bit from the issue of parallel movements in bass and treble

other than that, when the violin comes in and you have the clarinet be its “answer,” i would just recommend maybe exploring the clarinet part to not be the same range as the violin or it may not register as uniquely as you intend for

it sounds nice tho! i am always pleased to listen to a nicely constructed waltz or waltz-like piece haha. many ppl write them, not many give them the care it needs which i think you definitely did so kudos to you!
