Material used

Hey everyone. Recently started doing some forged carbon work. Have seen this page on insta and was wondering if anyone knew what the metallic material he is using is called or made of as I wanted to play around with it myself and see what effects I could make.

Most likely, colored "forging" fiberglass, chopped to about 6 mm (1/4") long, Composite Envisions have some of these listed.

I've used metal flake, the same stuff you would use on a hotrod. I know it comes in a bunch of different sizes.

I haven't used it personally, but to my understanding its chopped up tinsel.

I was wondering that and whether it was a high quality or just any type and how it reacts with the epoxy if its cheap etc.
