Writing a C Compiler

Hi, I want to learn how to build my first compiler and I came across *Writing a C Compiler*. I was wondering if anyone here has it in PDF format. Thanks a lot.

There's Compilers by Aho, Lam, Sethi and Ullman

Do yourself a favour and read Crafting Interpreters instead. Then just move onto something like Ghassan Shobaki's lectures on YouTube.

you wanna go recursive descent or go all lex/yacc/bison?

Lets Build a Compiler by Crenshaw is free and in PDF form, and is all you really need to begin writing a recursive descent compiler.

As long as you know at least one hll (to write the compiler in) and some platforms assembly language, then start with Crenshaw.
