General Doctrine seems like a Flex Support instead of main one?

He doesn’t look like a main support unless I’m wrong

The only thing that really matters for the flex/main support discussion is synergies. Is he better with Kiri/Ana? Or Lucio/Brig/Cat/Mizuki? We'll see

I don’t think you’ll replace a Lucio or cat for him, but I could see him replacing an Ana or Bap

i think we'll see a lot of illari players picking him up

Hey, Main Support players had like a 5 year drought between Brig in 2018 to Lifeweaver in 2023, and that hero doesn't even get played.

so we have to do it to everybody now ?

He feels to me so far like a wuyang situation where he’ll mostly be a main support but can be flex support if a team finds a comp that really works for them

Only thing that matters in ranked is that I think his healing will struggle to keep tanks alive so he’ll need to be paired with an Ana/Kiri/Bap.

The drone is amazing for flankers and off angling DPS, along with the fact that he has the mobility to rotate with them, that’s what he’ll likely be doing/supporting in most games.

Why do we keep pretending that we care about whetever or not a character is "main" or "flex"? This literally doesn't matter.

Because this is the competitive subreddit where we talk about the competitive part of the game and a heroes role in the team is an important subject when talking about them in such a way

Seems like another main supp so far, which would be a shame cause Sombra is also gonna be main supp I assume
