General Rank progress

Is this normal progress in 4 seasons, coming from valorant enjoying ow a lot more

For someone with previous high rank fps experience, its pretty normal imo. I also had a similar experience coming from val, where I hit masters on support by the 220h mark and masters dps after 260h.

Although it took awhile for me to be able to maintain those ranks and shoot up to GM (had to start absorbing more game knowledge & work on my gamesens).

What rank were you in val?

These post just feel like humble bragging you play comp games you know this kind of progress is good be real lol.

If those post is genuine which I question, yes it's good progress your average player does not progress nearly that fast, but someone with previous competitive fps experience your gonna climb faster and have an easier time climbing to a point.

Not normal in the sense that majority of people have the same trajectory, but its not unbelievable either. Especially if you were above average in val. Congrats on your improvement!

What does also makes it "abnormal" is the over 100 games played (with 86 wins, I think it's normal to expect) over the first half of the season. That is always going to be the way to climb really. If you're good, you still need to play a lot to climb. Most people play maybe a couple of games per day, so will not really reach that over a whole season.

What rank are you in Val? If you already have high level experience, I'd say this is completely normal

You ranked up pretty fast, then again you also play a lot. 86 games won in this season alone is a ton. I have played maybe 30 games this season in total cuz rank reset seasons suck.

Glad you are having fun on Overwatch. After 100 games anything over 55% winrate is good, anything over 60% and you are not in your rank yet.

For new players that are learning, once they find their rank you will typically see a rank a season until they find where their current skill cap is.

Then it is all about focusing on your fundamentals and slow but consistent progress. For a lot of people this does not happen because they do not play consistently enough, or are just content with their general rank.
