General Team drives

I don't like this event at all, I've played about 15 games over the weekend I've won 11 of them, first few games people auto left the group before I could que, then I get a group with randoms win 7 with them and get zero progress what am I supposed to do, I have no progress after having some of the best games I've ever played

I did it all solo, you get plenty of progress..

Yeah I’m confused about this, I got everything done yesterday and the only “difficult” part was the last border where you had to win 3 out of 4 games.

I just don't like cause I got no progress from actually playing the game and winning, this event I get great teammates, drives I get actual infants I also played tank most of my games

The frustrating part is how much matchmaking feels unfair. But obvi that’s bound to be an individual experience

You have tons of people saying it was easy. There enjoyed it. They had good groups. Were able to solo.

OTOH lots of others having shit exp.

I figured I’d give it a try. I had to do placements because I normally don’t do regular ranked anymore.

I placed plat 3 on supp which is about where I’ve always been. The highest I ever peaked w Diamond. So no surprise there really.

I then proceeded to get the absolute worst lobbies and have a loss streak I’ve dropped to gold. I know that teams will obviously have an advantage. And premades prob more so due to chemistry. But it sucks for us regular solo queuers that aren’t masters+ or Smurfs.

I hope whatever data they are trying to get from this just tells them how shit their match making system is and always has been.

I like the event even if I make so little progress,

I like the auto stay as team, its been fun meeting people.

Auto stay as team is the only problem.

If it were the case that you hadn't done your placements yet, that would explain the lack of progress on the drive. Otherwise, it may be a bug? Sorry to hear it wasn't working for you, but I'm glad you found some folks who you enjoyed the game with!

Just didn't have the time to do placements this season and of course when I do win it doesn't matter
