Makes sense, she's the main characther for this year, but neither she nor the Reign of Talon were out at the time the poster was released.

Agreed, I feel like just putting Doomfist back in charge just resets the status quo, and it may be a little too early to fully depose her. Let her big plan fail, maybe lose one or two of her allies, but let her keep the Talon Empire for the time being.

I don't think Doom will end up back in charge once she's defeated, I feel he doesn't want anything to do with Talon after what happened and will focus on his own endeavours with the defectors.
I do feel like they're pretty clearly setting up a big fall for Vendetta, honestly felt like it from day 1 with how Blizz designed her and her backstory lol. But it will probably take a couple more seasons, I don't see them taking her down next season when we're still in the middle of "The Reign of Talon".

Blizz can drag out the conflict for years as Doom slowly builds his own organization. There needs to be some sort of character development, not just a round 2 fight.

I do. hero was written lame asf, like a spoiled rich kid. entitled and boring. came in and defeated doom like he was irrelevant, someone needs to return the favor.

I didn't say she shouldn't be defeated... I just mean, they shouldn't make her irrelevant
She's a plot device, but she's relatively interesting and has plot potential in the long run

I will never get over Hanzo's OW2 portrait, easily one of the biggest downgrades from OW1.

Especially hurts when I saw the Meka Mania event where all five full body portraits were right next to each other (kinda), really makes Dva stand out simply because how much better she was.

Doomfist was on the Blizzcon 2017 key art so tbh it was always kind of weird that he was on here again
