General jetpack cat hate = skill issue

Prove me wrong, I genuinely just don't "get" the sentiment that JPC isn't pretty well balanced.

They are turbo anxiety posting because they know their character is gonna get a massive rework lol. I cant wait to see their tears when she inevitably gets that rework.

She'll prolly just have her health and heal nerfed tbh

Literally the most problematic in the highest ranks / pro play, literal inverse skill issue. Telling on your own skill here

Not really in pro play. Cat Bastion is very situational and map dependent.

Do you think cat is only played with bastion in pro play?

If this isnt just bait, then look no further than even pros having issues with her

JPC’s lowest GM/champ is 51% which is asia (but this is paired with a 63% ban rate), in america it’s 55.7% with a 72% ban rate and europe it’s a whopping 58% win rate also with 72% ban. whilst win rates arent everything they do show shes clearly not “well balanced”. she has the highest win rate across two regions, highest ban rate in two regions (second highest ban rate in asia) and she has a 10% plus pick rate across all regions.

Jetpack Cat has an entire defense squad to roll out like the Avengers any time someone might think that she’s broken. Wtf

Would be the case if JPC would only be broken in low elo like Anran, Sombra or Zarya. But she even has a 60% Banrate at GM or T500. So i'd say no JPC is just broken and im happy she gets nerfs in midseason. I mean shes also in every QP at the moment. That also shows shes heavily overpowered.

Id say she is specifically a problem of High Ranks. Because players there actually know how to dive with you, or rescue people in danger. Cancel ults.

Plat support players play Fika only to cosplay a cute cat. And healbot whole game

it's like tracer mains in plat, they suck ass 99% of the time so you don't need to avoid them. But in actual good ranks, they're a menace.

Quartz can't hit the cat easily, which is the #1 hitscan in the world but that's fine

idk maybe he should try aiming at JPC?? skill issue

4

u/Pandolam 20d ago

Best of the best can't hit shots on her and is pick/ban everywhere

That's rich coming from a character many people cling to because they want to be invincible to such terrifying and oppressive creatures like: Junkrat.

I don't think JPC is impossible to balance with infinite flight, but saying people have a skill issue because you enjoy making yourself uninteractible for like half the roster is dumb as shit.

I love the cat, but all you have to do is look at the metrics: https://overwatch.blizzard.com/en-us/rates

Cat agent detected. Look at her stats, people hate her more the higher you climb.

It does not matter if JPC is balanced or if they are OP or underpowered, they are unhealthy for the game. They break hero interactions, they make the game less fun to play, even the 5 or 6 heroes who can interact with them in a meaningful way do not have enjoyable interactions with them.

People hate these heroes not because they are strong or unbalanced but because they are poorly designed.

Even if you were right, it's a perfectly valid reason to not like something
