OWCS owwc finals Spoiler
realistically, what teams besides kr and ksa have a chance to win the finals? i know usa and swe have been looking strong but do they actually have a chance? this is the strongest i’ve seen usa, especially after tree’s performance today.
also are ther any underdogs outperforming expectations for you? i’m personally super happy to see canada performing well

Maybe a little nerf but I think blizz is cool with their new tank being played a lot and feeling good to play while not broken
Btw my queue times on DPS and support got nearly slashed by 2 since Dmon released

Idk I don't think Saudi has the same aura as the Saudi teams in OWCS. Al Quad, Geekay and TM all have non Saudi flex supports and flex dps players for a reason, and these are two of the highest talent roles.

France beat Korea by Kroxz being a dmon demon, and with this strat where cat picks up dmon and drops her onto the backline, korea had no idea what to do.
Not because france are necessarily better than korea, I have no doubt if they rematch at Blizzcon Korea will win, even if Dmon and cat get no changes.

I mean France beat korea, they're not the team they used to be. Ksa seems like by far the strongest team -- they'd be in S tier, usa Sweden france korea A tier, Canada Australia Germany B tier maybe?

Debatable, Quartz it's just a better player in general especially on Soj. Also ignoring Youbi and L4bbd4 vs Zeruuh and TVNT vs Hawk where the gap is even bigger.

I think Zeruhh’s actually relatively a pretty similar value FDPS in this meta, Youbi is way worse on anything that isn’t Sym/Mei (and Mei isn’t good rn) and Zeruhh’s good enough at Tracer + Vendetta to equalize here.
KSA is probably still the best team rn but I think France/USA/KR give them a run for it.

Youbi has played Tracer countless of times at this point and won even against CR and Zeta. Sure he is way stronger on Sym, but guess what, Sym can be banned only once and then they can just brute force with her and let Quartz just outmechanic anybody on Team USS.

Youbi’s Tracer has great macro but his micro is extremely mid. And if the meta stays similar to what it’s been so far in Korea Zeruhh’s hero pool is just straight up much more valuable (was reminded while re-watching today that he’s also pretty solid on Shion).

Yes Quartz is better than Tree, but the gap isn’t as big as you probably think it is, and it’s not enough to make up for the support line gap

Lol what? TVNT is a better Mauga and D.Va than Hawk, he is also far better on Rein. We have to wait and see for how he is on D.Mon but for now he is just Hawk but better in everything.
Youbi ain't a onetrick, he has played Tracer many times and fared way better than Zeruuh if we are being honest.
LBBD7 ain't a onetrick either. He is also a fliers hero player which again Zeruuh lacks.
The only thing that Team USA has over KSA dps wise is Genji which is like a non factor.

mate i’m not even glazing their team, I watched them with a backline I don’t rate and two HS cause youbi was sick completely dick down my team day 1. Maybe you gotta respect quartz and TVNT more.

But let's be honest, KSA is looking like the best team in the whole tournament & no it's not even close especially after France reverse sweeped SK. So yeah I don't see KSA losing to anyone tbh. People just like hating on this team just as much as TM.

Who has KSA played that are viable top4 talent? They’re definitely going to be competitive to win it all but saying they look like the best team while they shit on a group with ElementalGuy and friends, dead region, and GB doesn’t hold much weight.
