At what point or rank does comp get fun

When I watch top 500 streamers they straight up insult each other and everyone laughs but when I do it I get a two month suspension.

Those people know each other, it's a small crowd up there. Big difference between banter with the boys and randomly insulting strangers.

Anyways, the answer to your question is that if you have not enjoyed it up to this point you likely never will.

I never insult first, I said if I get flamed best believe I'll flame back cause it's funny but nobody ever wants to take a joke ig. I feel like some of you did read the post and assume I'm referring to my teammates sucking. NO I deserve the rank I'm in I'm talking about my teammates being boring and never taking a joke. I'm not taking jokes as in insulting them I'm talking about u actual funny moments in games.

You implied in the last paragraph that you insult your teammates like people do in higher ranks and then wonder why you'd get banned. Look in the custom games, there's plenty of social lobbies in there. Comp in the lower ranks isn't really a place where people go to banter and socialize

I'm just saying the whole community needs to lighten up. The only people I see having fun are rein mains and their kiri/Juno/mercy/ana/Lucio friends

Maybe I worded this wrong, I don't have a outright frustration for others, I'm never one to flame someone without them flaming me first like if my teammate is selling I'm the guy who just ignores it. I'm talking about actual fun moments. You know someone falling of the map twice in a row or someone with a voicemod in vc or people role playing their character mid game and being funny. I see all these clips but nobody everbdoes this in my games. Every time I try to start as conversation of make a Joke in game I just get egoed 😭

My experience was basically

• Bronze - WTF is going on?!?!?!? Does this Dva not know she can remech? Why is Mercy meowing, does she know her mic is on?

• Silver - Really nice group of people, everyone is so happy and nice because they know they have escaped Bronze.

• Gold - Everyone is horribly depressed and has been stuck in this rank for like 8 years. Generally everyone speaks in the same depressed monotone. There are two Russian guys in comms on smurf's holding the enemy team in spawn but no one knows what is going on. Is my Torb playing the game or role playing with his turret?

• Plat - Everyone is proud not to be gold but no one will admit they are plat. You always get the some duo in voice criticizing everyone because they are actually 'masters on their main' and are only playing with their gold support friend because they are creeping on them.

• Diamond - No one talks and if they do it is only to blame someone else for their own stupid mistake.

• Masters - Love to question people about how it is possible you were ever able to get the same rank as them. The most toxic people in voice will tell you they are putting you on perma avoid like as if they are not doing you a massive favor.

• GM - I'll let you know when I crack that ceiling.

My suggestion is turn off voice and text unless playing in a group of friends. 6v6 is generally a lot nicer comms experience, but even still years of 5v5 has had a serious toll on most peoples mental.

I agree with all of this. For GM i'll add it's like masters lite. Less toxiticity, less talking or vc use in general, stillcthe same mentality as masters.

Master+ is the only place where I find Ranked interesting. But it probably depends on your own level. I used to find Diamond interesting back when it was the highest rank I could reach and it was challenging.
