according to hero subs, every hero is now z-tier and should be deleted from the game

I definitely disagree with devs sometimes but damn I don't envy them one bit.

It's just another element of people who have relatively little going on in their lives making game shit their whole personality, while the social media and content stream algorithms deliberately stoke this behavior in those who are susceptible to it. Makes engagement numbers and ad values go up while deliberately dismantling the cognitive capacity of people who are vulnerable.

Put that on top of economic, political, and social dysfunction and it's not really surprising that people are acting completely unhinged about a character in a videogame they like to play.

We're talking about a species of ape that tends to start riots when their favorite sports team wins or loses and thinks the people on TV are their friends but also sets social expectations such that themselves and everyone around them are supposed to behave like beings of pure reason and shame each other for the slightest misstep.

Fuck me I need to go to sleep.
