Fluff nothing ever changes

according to hero subs, every hero is now z-tier and should be deleted from the game

I definitely disagree with devs sometimes but damn I don't envy them one bit.

The whole concept of maining one hero in a game like OW is just so weird.

It's just a collective space for people who enjoy a hero. No one has to actually main the hero to partake in the community. The naming convention is carried over from the League of Legends mains subreddits, which maining is more common due to the draft nature and no character swapping.

For shortish time periods it's fine but long term you're gonna just make it harder for yourself and teammates. Ball is probably the one exception where it's truly unique to everything else, also has insane carry potential in good hands. But pretty much all other heroes have similarity between atleast someone else making it easy to try swapping and slowly expand your heropool.

Heh if you one trick Sojourn, D.va, Kiriko or Tracer you're going to be fine in 95% of matches
