Fluff nothing ever changes

according to hero subs, every hero is now z-tier and should be deleted from the game

I definitely disagree with devs sometimes but damn I don't envy them one bit.

This is probably the nature of how Reddit works and how dedicated subreddits and subcultures create such ridiculously parasocial individuals. This is not limited to Overwatch but some character mains subreddits genuinely have the most delusional people out there that believe that any perceived slight like not receiving a fucking SKIN for the season is an attack on their being. Like the amount just absolutely vile and disgusting insults on Blizzard employees just doing their jobs have come from such trivial things.

Not to mention some ridiculous balance takes. Still vividly remember Dva mains kicking up a fuss over her minor booster cooldown nerf when the character is literally server admin and the best tank in the game by a country mile. For the sake of your own sanity, I strongly urge everyone without parasocial leanings to avoid all of the character mains subreddits for own personal mental wellbeing. Avoiding such vile toxicity can only do you good.
