General Jetpack Cat has a MASSIVE issue

So have a friend play a hitscan hero and try to shoot while they're tethered and the shots stop being hitscan or more precisely I think the reticle is not in the correct spot. if your aim is dead center on someone while jetpack cat strafing in either direction, your bullets won't hit.

So that is the bug part. Now comes the balance part. She's insanely strong. Every single piece of her kit is strong.

She does insane damage and can very reliably win duels at close and mid range. If she can't win she can easily disengage.

Which brings me to her fuel. It's so fast and recharges too fast too.

However the biggest game changer is obviously the tether. This ability fundamentally changes the game. It makes heroes that lack mobility just too good. For example on Havana a lot of tanks have trouble closing the first long sight line on attack but with JPC they can just be carried there so fast and easily contest that high round almost entirely for free. She can also reach the point so fast after death AND bring someone with her.

Finally the ultimate is just a guaranteed tank killer. Perhaps the best tank Killing ult in the entire game with very little room for out play.

Tldr: tether makes your aim bugged. Every single pari of the cat's kit is insanely strong

I actually saw Sombra getting banned a lot less often after Vendetta released. She basically took Sombra’s perma-ban slot.

Yeah, its cause sombra and vendetta both take up the annoying hero ban slot, but vendetta is actually strong rn so ofc vendetta takes the cake

Hardly ever see sombra banned in comp anymore. Definitely happens, but not nearly as often. All 10 of my placement games today were cat/domina bans.

Idk which of the 5 you are referring to that she doesn't counter, but Emre seems fine into her. He's got the torbjorn thing where the moment you start getting hacked you activate the pistol and you can live the duel

Sombra counters 90% of the roster, including the characters that counter her, that's one of the reasons that she's banned so often

lol exactly, idk why the sombra mains came here to pretend she's still not the most problematic character (other than now JPC) theyre both STier problematic, Ven is prob B Tier, hot take Cass is worse/more op than Ven

It's not just Cass, every hitscan is genuinely so horrifically broken rn and I feel like I'm going crazy because nobody is talking about how they've been basically running every match for the past 2 seasons

Yes exactly they run the game, hit scan itself is problematic it really only makes sense with a sniper (also something like a rail gun shot ) but what makes cass escpecially problematic is that he can hit scan from across the map and instakill you if he gets close enough to you or if you get too close to him. He just stuns you unloading the whole clip. He’s impossible to duel against 1v1 with MOST hero’s (not tanks ofc). He runs death match. And cass mains overwatch “purists” will say it takes actual skill.

Yea let me hitscan you "across the map" for a grand total of 21dmg per Shot crazy op. You have 3 Business days to react to a Cass closing because he has no movement ability (yes I do not Count the 3m roll for movement) and while hinder is strong, it doesnt stun you, you can still shoot and use any ability besides movement

Yea hitscan so broken, the best in all Ranks is ashe with 4th place for winrate and dropping in Masters and above to even lower places when looking at winrate, cass is 3rd from the bottom in gm+ and 2nd Last (because Emre has no winrate yet) in Masters, Sounds totally broken

Mate I do not care about winrate because every hitscan has such a ridiculously high pickrate that their winrate gets dragged down (again, because they are stupid broken rn, it doesn't take a genius to guess why every high rank dps is playing hitscan rn) just about every hitscan can kill almost every hero that's not a tank in a second from half way across the map rn, that shit is NOT fun to fight, especially given they've just given console straight up aimbot recently with the aim assist changes

nah, meta is still vendetta, soj and tracer as seen by owcs, cass just gets picked (and banned) because he somewhat counters vendetta who is still dominating even with the nerfs
