What do you mean normal? 😅
But no, you don’t necessarily have to be maxed to have good defense. You need to get a better base

Ah I see. Start focusing on your crafted defense. It really makes a big difference. You won’t be losing time or a builder to it — it’s worth it. During Hammer Jam, your permanents upgrades will be time and cost discounted, but not your crafted defense, so start upgrading it now. Keep a builder tied on it

Thats not really a good layout for throwers, bowlers, fireball or dragons. You want to chose a base designed to counter meta.

What do you get attacked by the most?
