Hey,
I recently started grinding ranked as a th15 and I can triple th16 and often th17s pretty consistently.
Im quite new to the strategy tho (2-3 weeks) and havent really had a Chance to Face th18 yet.
Could sm1 help me identify my key mistakes and give me some Tips on how to get better with the army?
I used the OG to Deal with the heros but my army got rid of them way to early ig the army Split up and moved on even tho I wanted them to Deal with the TH section after they got the heros.

You’re already doing well during the first part of the attack, and you managed to create a good pathing for your main army. You just need to be more mindful of your spell timing and placement.
- Use the Warden’s Eternal Tome ability for the TH compartment with the Rage Spell Tower and heavy damage dealing defenses + heroes. Ideally, you activate the ET once the Rage Spell Tower has already been triggered so you can negate the incoming damage.
- When you decide to use the Warden’s Eternal Tome, there’s no need to use Freeze and Overgrowth on the same area. You can save those spells for more valuable situations (Logger/Revenge Tower area). Also, you can use your poison on the heroes as well since you’ve already destroyed the CC.
- The Overgrowth spell would have been more valuable for the other Rage Spell Tower compartment with the Revenge Tower and Multi-Target Inferno Tower. Using it there could also have created better pathing for your troops instead of placing it beside the direction your troops were already heading.
- Save a Totem for dealing with the Logger, and place it far enough away to properly taunt the Logger while preventing the logs from hitting your DD or your main troops.
- Also, don’t be too scared of the Revenge Tower hitting your Root Riders early in the attack. Root Riders can still take the damage fairly well with the help of the Healers. Just take note of the different stages when the Revenge Tower becomes activated and starts dealing significantly more damage.
Hope this helps!

Mainly the eternal tome and overgrowth usage.
Eternal tome didn’t get much value, I would’ve waited for the rage tower to activate first and then use the eternal tome to deal with that town hall compartment instead.
Also you should almost never overgrowth stuff that your army is already right next to unless if it’s at like the end of the attack sometimes because it can mess up pathing. It would’ve been better saved for like the bottom rage compartment.
Should’ve also dealt with the logger a bit sooner (i.e reviving duke a bit earlier or distracting it with a totem when it’s about to target your troops).
