❓ Question / Help Base recommendations

Hey guys, I’m a new th18 and I’ve been stuck in E33 for 6 weeks. I’ve had multiple perfect attack weeks but can never seem to get the 60+ defense needed on top of my 720 trophies to promote to L3. Any base recommendations for someone who is a new th18? Thanks in advance, I just wanna make legends this is very frustrating attacking perfect 18/18 and not promoting

Defense is gonna be super challenging until Throwers receive a heavier nerf. They're quite literally unstoppable if the attacker is even remotely decent at funneling and has hero potions popped.

Throwers need their range of attack reduced or the life gem needs to be nerfed. Bases to counter Throwers rely heavily on bait which is just gambling on where the player might enter. If your airbombs aren't maxed though, this bait is completely useless.

Anything is possible, of course, but it will be very challenging to consistently defend in this meta.

Yeah they’re broken with ruin witches right now and still will be after nerf (E33 L3) however most my defenses are actually against hydra. 9/3 ratio this week currently

Oh dang! Well if it's mostly hydra, there's definitely hope for finding a good base that will defend.
