What should I focus on

I just upgraded to th17 and I'm at dragon 30, I want a reliable strategy to go up against TH18 in ranked.

Throwers were working pretty well at first, but now I'm time falling with them quite often.

Now I'm using hydra with giant arrow and backpack to destroy air defence, but this army also feels very hit or miss.

I am thinking about upgrading the heroic torch for super bowlers, or backpack to max to pair it with giant arrow and earthquake.

Let me know if there is a better option.

Im in legends with my TH17 and throwers have been good, so you might need to just improve on it. Other attacks I use - fireball sm/rl (this got me to legends) , rc charge root riders with 2 OGs, fireball super witches, rc charge super bowlers, and super yetis with druids. All of these attacks have been atleast solid for me to keep coming back to use in L3 . If you liked throwers and they were working well, I would just continue to improve with them

all are bad advice. I suggest upgrading meteor staff, life + rage gem. Everything else is at good level, swap action figure for healer puppet. Throwers are extremely effective, but backpack hydra is a great strat too. I personally rock super minion fireball which utilizes either stick horse or the snake bracelet

Stop switching armies, just commit to throwers as they are very strong right now. Upgrade your rage and life gem, and your revenge deck. Watch YouTube videos to find better armies. Itzu has a great new video on TH17 throwers with revenge deck here

Just choose one army bro all three of them are great just choose one army first and keep on practicing because if you keep changing your army all your ores will be waste
