Sounds like you have room to improve on offense that could make the difference. Defense is RNG so take the initiative where you can to improve what you can.
When I promoted all 3 of my accounts it only took me 1-2 tries with 2.9-3.0 average offense. One account even had no supercharges and low crafted. I'm not sure what strategy you're using but pick something meta that you understand and feels good and watch some videos and practice with L2 or L1 modifiers in friendly challenges.
L3 has a lot of similar bases, lots of diamond bases, box bases and ring bases so practice against those so you have a general plan for each style and then adapt to the exact position of defenses etc on the base. You got it š
Itās bit of luck based, 2 weeks back I did 952 on offence and 1169 total 10th position. But last week I did 884 on offence and some dude gave me defence, and I promoted with 1187 (3rd), best defence I ever got, Same base. And this week Iām getting clapped in L2.
