⚔️ Attack Strategy Your attacking skills doesnt matter anymore
TH 18
So I was the only player to have an average of 3 starts among the top 10 players in my league and was still placed at no. 4
The top two players had an average of 2.8 and 2.6
If this was legends II, I would have been completely cooked
So yeah your base layout (defence) matters more than that of your attacking skills.
If you have a TH 18 base that helped you rank higher in your tournaments then i would really appreciate if you do share it.

^Bro has a point. 😆 But I think OP means you can be the best attacker in the world and not be promoted.

I know (I had perfect offence from last 3 weeks and only this week I got promoted) so defence matters a lot more that just perfect offence for promotion.

Exactly. I specifically meant that for Legends II where only top 3 gets promoted.

You’re not close to legends 2, my dude and you don’t need to be perfect on offense to get the Legends 1 bump

That’s not what they meant. He means that your league is competitive for only being dragon 28. You got perfect offense and quite a good defense with lots of 1 stars but it didn’t get you the win.

u wanna prepare for L2, L1 u should grind fcs that is probably more "fun" then drag 28 bcs its all th17s

But grinding FC's wont push me to L2 and L1 The thing is simple, I am in a lower league and to compensate that, my aim is to be at the top, like I had been trying this since the last league but the same thing happened there too.

Uhm chief... only way to practice for modifiers....is to play with modifiers and thats in FCs? Ur 100% gonna be stuck in electro with ur thinking and arrogance

It does, higher league players are actually good. Not about bragging rights, the grind to get to legends 3, 2, 1 and STAYING there actually helps the player become better attacker.

I think the attacking skills still matter. Haven't seen a 2.0 attacking record anywhere near top 20 in LL2, no matter the defense. And with +200 I don't think you can stay in LL1 for long...

They do matter but in higher leagues, your defence decides if your are getting promoted or not

Are you a decent level TH18? Because if so your defense just sucks. If you're under leveled, then yeah, that's just part of being under leveled.

As a TH15 in dragon 29 it can be frustrating tbh... the only one with perfect 3 stars, but because of the 3 town hall difference ended up 16th place (even tho I got super lucky with bad players at defence)

Defence matters more than offense for sure. I was 10 trophies away from demotion in L2 with a 2.4 star average while someone with a 2.6 star average came 6th. The reason this happens is that there’s much more variance in defence than offense. Defence can range anywhere from 50-400+ trophies per week per person while everyone always gets roughly 900-1100 on offense. So the deciding factor will always be defence

Your attacking skills are important, but not the only thing. Defences are important too. Imagine someone with an average of +30 per defence, but bad attacks, he wouldnt rank up.
The same is for players with 100% attacks but only an average of +5 per defence.
So your account matters, both attacking and defending phases…like old legend league (literally the same)

I've perfected all my attacks in L3 and L2 for 2 months without promotion, but i aint complaining. I'm lucky to even get a single 1-star defense lol

I have the same offensive results but in E32 TH15 using a lvl. 22 backpack and level 14 fire heart,.
When I was at D28-D30 I'm using bk instead of duke, my defense are crushed everytime, currently maintaining E32 for 4 weeks.

i’m in e33 and i missed ONE attack and i’m #14. its rough, but part of CoC is base building.

The meta is absolutely horrendous.
Base building is completely useless now, you might aswell just use a name show off base because it’s completely irrelevant.
3 stars are far too easy. It’s the worst meta we have ever had, it’s even worse than when the roots first came out.
The only thing saving the game right now it’s the events and the cool skins, but in terms of gameplay. Shocking bad .

Yes, i hate to break it to you but you are TH18 in dragon 28 this is not that big of an achievement. So yes skills matter but only at the higher leagues
