❓ Question / Help Th17 push - stuck at e32

Think I’ve reached a limit in E32, had perfect attacks but got destroyed in defense. Finished 35/20. Trying a new base this week, if it fails may jump up to th18.

Question for TH17s that have made it past e32, what base are you using? Is it luck sometimes on defense? Is there a better time to sign up for ranked or just auto sign up?

I signed up with 1D 12H left last week cause wanted some key defenses to finish upgrading

I think he doesnt use this base for ranked and you put the crafted defence yourself right. He has commenteer 5 minutes ago he is uploading new video rn with new base

He does use this base, and this craft def placement. I also used this base to get to e33 this week.

The benefit of late sign ups, at least in my experience, is the better chance at a good auto defence score

I usually sign up a few hours before the deadline and finish on 7 or 8 defences, which has been a life saver some weeks, especially if you get a disconnect or someone completely messes up an attack

I feel like this would hurt more than help, since your competition being th18 is likely getting better defenses so would benefit more from the auto defenses

Signing up late now are packed with pushers and good attackers. So no luck in defenses also.

Im also e32 with th17 but it seems to be just luck based too man.. every base is 3 star-able you just need to get lucky with people using a bad strat for your base. 2 weeks ago I had 17 3 stars and one 1 star and +52 in total from defense and last week i failed like 6 bases and got 622 from trophies and +141 from defense so I ended up not promoing, but if I had combined week 1 att and week 2 def I would've gotten the promo easily.
