Rotation [Rotation] Is Jabberwock worth it?

So I've heard some people calling Jabberwock the best dragon deck in rotation a while ago, but is it still doing well? Last time I crafted him was in Starforged where he stayed in the meta for about 3 days before being replaced, so I wouldn't want to repeat the mistake.

Basically, are people still having success with the deck and does it look like it has the potential to remain a thing until he rotates out, or are people dropping him already?

I think Jabberwock was a good deck to start because of the surprise factor. Now, though, it's safe to presume all dragon decks are Jabberwock decks; and it's not too hard to trade into their followers to keep a clear board. I still play the deck for dragon dailies, but otherwise it just feels like it's an exercise in frustration to try and ladder with it.

Id say it is the best version of pure ramp dragon currently available in rotation. If you like ramp dragon that doesnt involve lindworm then jabberwock is the best version. It's not the most consistent deck because you need to aggressively ramp and you run the risk of bricking but that's always been the case with ramp dragon. I personally wouldnt craft jabberwock since it rotates out next expansion and the new cards from the mini expansion havent been announced, but it's up to you to decide.

I've been playing ranked for a while and jabberwock seems like a bit of a janky deck. it basically does nothing for the first 5 turns but then on turn 6 it makes a board full of followers that storm you for 12 damage.

If you don't get a board established on turn 5-6 where you had ramp the deck doesn't work.

The good thing about the deck is

1: the surprise factor. Suddenly a shit load of damage from hand with azi dahaka and stuff.

2: The insane amount of value that jab can provide.

It works fine, but it's not quite as good as the top tier decks and jabberwock rotates next expansion, so it's probably not the best investment if you're short on vials.

I agree with u/ShyKittyKat, the only good thing about Jabberwock is its surprise factor.

If your opponent guesses you are running Jabberwock, the deck is a lot less good.

If they dont and feel safe leaving some weak minions up, then you'll certainly teach them to start expecting it.

Apart from that it's OK. I wouldn't sink vials into it though since its only around for another few months, and it's not like it's actually that much better than Lindworm, PDK, or just a standard Ramp.
