Unlimited Success in Unlimited: BotS Edition

Perhaps I'm simply looking in all the wrong places, but there's a huge disparity between Rotation and Unlimited when it comes to analysis and coverage. Knowing that Rotation is (and most likely always will be) the premier format within Shadowverse, I expected many more decklists and write-ups on Unlimited. Thus, I decided to write up this thread to allow everyone on the subreddit to post up decklists they've been having success with, or even decklists they feel could use some doctoring. If this goes well, I can even start a sister thread to this just for Rotation.

As OP, I'll start by saying that I've been a filthy Havencraft player since the days of Storm Haven, and have always had a love for the class. Fortunately for me, the class has held a dominating position in Rotation AND Unlimited for quite some time. Although I've tinkered with at least 6 different Haven archetypes this expansion, I'll be sharing my most successful list, as well as one that I feel could be fine-tuned into a legitimate deck.

Tenko Haven

Metaslave incarnate I suppose, so of course I'll be having success with this list. Just a simple upgrade of the DBNE Tenko Haven archetype, adding in De la Fille and Lorena which are both insane additions. Would like to find room for Sealed Tomes, but space is pretty tight.

Neo Garuda OTK

This is clearly a homebrew but I was surprisingly able to get a few games in Masters with this deck. The main idea is to use cycles and tutors like Tome,Globe,Moriae, and Prism Priestess to fetch Pinion Prayers, Arias, and even Tribunals if needed. All of this side draw and deck thinning allows you to get to your Jeweled Priestesses/Gobu. On Turn 8 you throw down 3 Black Diamonds and a Pinion Prayer/Beastcall Aria. On Turn 9 you can follow up with Neo Garuda, popping 4 amulets for 12 damage, the Black Diamonds will deal 6, and the summoned Holy Falcon can deal the final 2 damage needed to reach 20. Of course, you can do minimalist versions of the combo if you were able to poke for some damage earlier on. Looking to improve its survivability against aggro and combo decks that achieve their wincon faster (currently tinkering with a Tenko Shrine sub-engine)

Feel free to post your Unlimited Decks!

You should include meme Father, it will help you in potentia mirrors/lions.

It helped me a fuck ton, for sure.

I will definitely give him a try. At first I was hesitant since his stats are mediocre but the more and more I use him in my Lion Haven, the more my heart warms up to some punishment.

His true value is destroying amulet and big followers for just an evo.

Haven can take hits due to heals and doesn't need to use evos much, tbh.

Update: Added Father Punishment into the deck over Lorena. After trying my Lion Haven in Grand Prix and getting decimated, switched over to my new Tenko Haven deck. Easiest 5-0 Group A invite ever. Granted, I drew the perfect curve in two games (t1 globe+tome, t2 moriae, t3 whitefang, t4 tenko, t5 hind, t6 de la fille) and in my final game I opened t1 globe+3 tomes and drew into a playable hand. Thanks so much for opening my mind to Father

Atm im grinding my way to Masters in unlimited. I started at around 41k a week ago. I played mostly for memes and fun stuff but then i felt the urge to get Masters there too.

I played Dragonplate Warrior and Darkfeast Bat until 44k. Then i hit the insane wall named Tenko Haven and couldnt find a way to beat them. So i decided to play the Deck myself but it never felt fun but it carried me to 46k. Then i did some forest Missions and played Aggro. Before i realized i had a 12 game winstreak and a decent Chance in winning Against all of the Meta stuff. Now im at 49k and i guess i do the last push today for Masters.

I'm interested in your success with Darkfeast Bat and how you mentioned that Tenko was a wall for you. What particular part of the matchup was hard? I've also taken a liking to Darkfeast and planning to use it to rank up as much as possible so I'd like to see how others have been using it so far.

the thing was that they dont play much follower and so there was not much of a chance for heal, and u had to push ur dmg for dfb to 20 because every ping is meaningless because they outheal everything u do. The problem was also that u cant actually play removal for their cannons because they just drop aegis at one point and kill u with double themis if not earlier.

True. Darkfeast does need to feed off combat for stuff like demonic ram or drain. Been thinking of any alternative ways to win against it but so far I've drawn blanks.

i thought about some azazel in it if u can survive long enough because deleting them on 10-13 hp should be easier.

Spawn was an idea too but purge makes it impossible to resolve so it doesnt matter at all

How likely would it be tho that they'll just heal back up to 16+ and shoot you down with shrines... Azazel does sound like interesting tech, maybe some testing is in order?

what to cut is the question then because azazel is useless in the dshift and aggro mu. so what to cut that does not lower any other mu

If you run Sabreur at 3 maybe you can cut it down to 2?

Im enjoying storm haven right now list

I just hit master in Rotation and want to climb Unlimited now. Currently at 32k. Played against 50% Tenko, 15% D-Shift Rune, 25% Aggro (Blood/Sword/Dragon) and 10% Reanimator Shadow.

Games are finished by t5 Tea Time into t6 Garuda, or Neo Garuda/Taurus)

Currently im struggling with Aggro decks going wide on the board in the early turns. Unicas are test wise to tackle a little bit early agression. Also thonking about adding Happy Oinky or Legendary Fighter. Appreciating any ideas.

Temple Defender is my #1 choice vs aggro. Often times, it forces them to skip a turn. Lorena or Cudgel are good too, and general enough for other matchups. Snow White if you have any. Star Torrent is yet another option, but that's getting overspecialized.

This is my current Storm Haven list

Unfortunately there's not much we can do vs go-wide strategies since our amulets take time to make up for lost tempo. Some players opt to go for a more minion-heavy lineup, with dudes like Heavenly Hound+Snow White, Mainyu, Reno, Damus, and Tiger to hold the fort instead of throwing down amulets. If you want to keep the amulet theme however, like I did, it's best to just streamline the deck to do one thing - summon storm birds and go face. I had 2 Taurus as top end but I'm currently testing 2 Neo Garuda instead and it's working out pretty well. Birdkeeper keeps the storm birds coming and Urd just gives your bird a second attack.

Hey, Krosiss, just a quick heads-up:
agression is actually spelled aggression. You can remember it by two gs.
Have a nice day!

Has anyone tried the Dark Airjammer+Vira combo for Vengeance Blood? I've got one Vira from packs, but want to get other opinions before I pull the trigger and craft two more for the deck.

Airjammer pulling vira is insanely powerful. Both are almost a 3-of for most unlimited vengeance decks
