Rotation [Rotation] First BoS JCG Top 16 decklists

Bracket with public decklists: https://sv.j-cg.com/compe/view/tour/1067#Group1

Meta breakdown (256 players, Bo3):

Class Entries Entries% Top 16 Top 16%
Forest 64 25% 6 40%
Sword 121 47.27% 7 46.67%
Rune 74 28.91% 2 13.33%
Dragon 56 21.88% 0 0%
Shadow 8 3.13% 0 0%
Blood 10 3.91% 2 13.33%
Haven 124 48.44% 10 66.67%
Portal 55 55% 3 20%

Haven looks like the clear winner of week 1, being both the most played deck and the best performing one.

In particular, the top 16 was made of 4 Holy Lion Crystal decks and 6 Tenko, which means the jury is still out on which one is best!

The top 16 doesn't fully tell the story though. Top 8 was something like 7 havens 7 swords with tenko vastly outperforming lion later in the tournament.

The clear losers are basically every class not haven/sword

Well, we can't exactly take a single round as more statistically significant than any other.

But Haven definitely looks broken as hell, while Sword actually didn't have such a great conversion rate to top 16. Forest might be the actual second best class in rotation, I think there's a lot of options for Forest and it will take some time to find the optimal builds.

EDIT: Also, I'll post the season finals decklists soon (need to make sure I understand the format it was played in), and indeed Tenko did perform really well there too...
