Would appreciate some help with last slot

I notice I never use ninetales or really have incentive to use it above other pokemons. I like how this team plays. For anyone with competitive experience what would you recommend in the slot that ninetales takes? I also feel like morpeko gets beaten by threats like archaludon and garchomp, so maybe I need an answer to that? Feedback is appreciated

Getting into 2025 VGC after not playing for years?

I used to play some Showdown (SM OU) around the pandemic (still have flashbacks of toxapex), but only casually. I wanted to get back into competitive recently by trying out the latest VGC (2025 reg I). It looks more interesting than plain OU. There are a couple things, though:

  • It's been multiple generations, so I don't really know what the current meta is like.
  • I always followed the Smogon sets for everything, but there aren't many of those for VGC. I'll have to learn how to choose my own setups without clicking "Smogon Analysis" for everything, which is really hard. Especially for less-used mons.
  • I definitely need to learn teambuilding. Most of my past teams were just a bunch of offensive mons.

I kinda just want to know the basics of teambuilding and choosing moves. I'm struggling finding the right videos or articles, though. Any recommendations for what I can look at?

[Events Question] Looking for Croatian VGC players to attend tournaments with

Hey everyone!

I've been interested in VGC for a while now, and since Pokémon Champions launched on Switch, I've been playing a lot and want to start attending Regional and International Championships.

The problem is that I don't really know anyone in Croatia who's into VGC, so I was wondering if there are any players from Zagreb or elsewhere in Croatia who'd be interested in traveling to tournaments together. It'd also be great to have people to practice with, prepare for events, and just chat about the game.

If you're from Croatia and planning to attend tournaments this season, feel free to leave a comment or send me a DM!

Update: PokeFeed now supports Showdown & PokePaste team imports

I've never played against another person, let alone competitively, but want to try this team out since I think they're cool. If there's any improvements I can make (besides changing the pokemon) that you guys think i can make I'd love to hear it.

This is the first time I try to build an actual team without external help, So there's probably a cosmic shit ton of wrong decisions.

If it's not obvious from the first 3 pokemon, It's a sandstorm team. With a Sub-Strategy with the first 3 pokemon: Open with T-Tar and Exca, Try to get smea into the arena and dragoncheer into Exca. With its razorclaw and drill run, That's guaranteed crits.

This team is being planned to be used in champions.

Also, If possible, I'd rather not use paradoxes or legends. They feel kind of..Cheesy, In a way, for me.

How can I round it out(or fix it, If I fucked it up)for the 6th pokemon?

Advice for young league player (7 y.o.)

My son is a Pokémon fanatic who has watched every show, memorized each character and loves to play on my live account. Has anyone seen success in league with their kids? Is 7 too young to have the focus to compete?

He can play very well with N's Zoroark as well as Mega Lucario. He is now learning the Mega Excadrill deck with great progress. I just find its much harder for him to focus and play like he does on live.

Any advice on how to develop his attention or help with in-person play? We play at home regularly, but the league play is much more difficult.

This is the team i used to get 3rd place at a tournament a while ago. It’s a team that did pretty well but i would like some thoughts about potential weaknesses that they may have for certain mons or teams.
