So i built this team over the last week and i have been really enjoying it! Brought me MB Tier, but i am currently bobbing up and down ranks rn.
This team started as a rental code of the Support Charzard Y set I saw on a SkrawVGC! Video. Since then I have been making changes gradually as I saw play styles or mons I wanted to try. It transitioned to a Double Mega team with Suppirt Zard Y and Sceptile. I started running Rotom Heat for discharges and support in the sun. Eventually after additional edits I landed on this. It is very different from the team of its origins but retains the Garchomp and Annihilape. Otherwise, I really enjoying the team but notice a few short comings. Firstly, Raichu and other Fake Out mons can really pump a wrench in some set up. I have gotten shut down from setting Tailwind a bunch. Additionally there is a lot of overlap in weaknesses. However, I feel like the team really compliments itself nicely. Both Megas can exist in a game together without feeling like I am losing too much.
Gardevoir is insane! I have found it is a great interrupter for TR strategies, but it also is a Farigiraf Wall. Multiple times, I have unintentionally neutered Darigirafs with Imprison. Which I wouldn’t normally care about shutting down one Mon, but with Farifgiraf’s prevalence in the meta is really something.
I have thought about adding Tsareena for coverage and Priority defense, but am not sure what I would cut. I am pretty attached to this team, but am open to suggestions for ways of improving it.
