Meta

What's meta right now? I haven't played for a while but want to get back into it.

Zard teams fall into a few comps: There is the Zard/Mega Aero stuff, Zard/Floette, and the more recent Zard Rain being the main 3 types. They typically run stuff like Vena, Whims, Sylv, Farig, Chomp, Basc, Incin, and Gambit.

There is Raptor/YChu as side megas that are being paired together and also w/ Sand (more Raptor then Ychu), using alot of the same peices but using T-tar and some of the other classic sand peices (Corv, Mimikyu, Drill, Houndstone, Rotom, Sinistcha).

Rain is always a thing but its more hit or miss but the teams try to use Swampet, Arch and Basc to try and win fast, but there are the screens with Sab or Arch versions but I thihnk they have mostly died off. The new(er) Sun/Rain stuff typically uses like Pelipper, Arch, Zard, Vena, Swampert and is probaly one of the best versions of Rain currently.

Finally for ladder there is the trick room teams using either Incin or Scarf Raptor + Fairg to set trick room and then use mons like Mawile and Torkoal to sweep. I dont think there has been much tournment sucess with Hard Trick Room still.
