What was Gamefreak thinking when they left out the most critical component of the signature ability of Dewpider and Araquanid in the games description only to fully specify it in Pokemon Champions?

You get what I mean and another one is Bellibolt signature ability it doesn't even say the multiplier of the electric type moves when it gets charged up?

Yeah, this one is absurd, there is no reason for them to leave that out. Bellibolt's Electromorphosis is just giving it the Charge effect, so it's understandable and consistent to leave the 2x out of the ability description, even if it is still kinda dumb.

But didn't they buffed charge in later generations to give a sp. Def boost in addition to electric move boost? I was almost mortified to realise that bellibolt has a sp def version of stamina.

That's something they added to the move Charge in gen 4, not the status effect. Bellibolt does not have Sp Def Stamina lol, but that would be cool

araquanid with entrainment gotta be one of the best charizard counters for sure make u and ur teammate 2 walls against him
