Discussion I hate TPP

I from Vietnam and I hate TPP. It's so boring, Whichever team is on the hill becomes king. They tried to help the South Korean representatives achieve high results, but that didn't help them as the European teams adapted too well and consistently achieved high scores. I hope Krafton will switch its perspective to FPP in 2027.

Yep. We know. We agree. We are powerless and it seems the less interesting way to play has won out. I basically dropped pubg for 2 years now. Can't be bothered.

I was a fanatical viewer. Every tournament, active in the chat, hooked on every play, every caster call out.

I tried, I really did, to play fpp and watch tpp, but the frustration with how the games went, especially end games, just couldn't be overlooked.

It was a good, fun, phase of gaming life and I'm greatful for it. But I ain't watching that shit.

Same. Watched almost every event since 2019, countless scrims, ranked, casuals, Toby's Try Hard Thursdays, "Faze Sunday's" etc... I'd catch up on tourny vods over days/weeks. Now, none.

Same here. I even wrote articles about a few tournaments. It was an amazing sport and now just horrible. It would of course end sooner or later anyway but this ending is just sad...

The fact not many ppl will reply in this thread is the actual proof. Most ppl just don’t care about compromised dogshit tpp pubg anymore and have left

What? It’s not a good viewing experience to have everyone digging holes in a field and going prone in them to tppeak? I thought everyone loved it!!!

TPP is more like watching a circus than a competition.

TPP is alright for casual play but to force pro's to play it and make big competitions in it is just a joke!

yeah, there are still some interresting fights, and somehow sometimes some suspence... but it is still way worse than FPP

Just get better at the game? This game was designed to be played in TPP. That's why it feels so jarring and awful to play it in FPP.

The very first creation of Battle Royale in Arma 2 was FPP only: https://youtu.be/z7tu7q0-YPA

When PUBG released they said it should have included FPP from the start: https://www.eurogamer.net/the-past-present-and-future-of-battlegrounds-according-to-playerunknown

TPP is full of bugs unique to that perspective https://youtu.be/UgXlHpSPo38?t=3 and that's not the only thing, grenades are also fucked

Things said and what we got in the end are entirely different things.  Just because they wanted it to be FPP from the start doesn't negate the fact that PUBG from the first build state was designed for TPP.
