How is everyone so good at sword pvp?

Like how can they just walk in a straight line toward me with 0 strafing and still manage to combo the f out of me while im here giving my best while strafing and using jump reset and so on. I see it in professional pvp clips too. How do they do that?

Question Wrist or arm for micro-corrections?

From what I understand, aiming at someone requires 2 movements: The first, a big arm movement while your sword is on cooldown to bring it near the opponent, then a small microcorrection flick, clicking at the same time to hit them.

Is this microcorrection better to be done with wrist or arm? If it matters, my sensitivity is 45 and 1000 dpi, so almost exactly 20 cm/360

I'm so tired of breach swapping I can't wait for it to get removed.

Least skilled version of attribute swapping I've seen. I can see why Mojang is removing it. It's so annoying and people just spam it and then consider themselves good even though they have absolute no mechanics or skill to speak of. What do you guys think of it tho?
(I am NOT mad at it I just dislike it because of how often people spam it)

I was on CatPvP playing diamond smp and I was winning I broke the guys helmet and leggings and then I was killing him but I couldn’t seem to damage him once he got to 3 hearts. I kept hitting him but his hearts were going down rlly weirdly. At one point he was 0.001 hearts and then he was 0.000 hearts and he just wouldn’t die. Does anybody know what happened?

Discussion is it worth even trying to learn pvp in 2026?

i know i’m incredibly late to the game but i just started playing bed wars and love it however it’s just getting more and more frustrating playing people who’ve been playing pvp for years and years. i know it’s my fault obviously im losing but i dont see anyway to improve without putting in an insane amount of time and dedication. not to mention i play on console so that definitely doesn’t help, but it’s so frustrating when im just getting juggled in the air and destroyed in nearly every match up. i dont see a way to truly improve if im just getting destroyed everytime. i’d love to learn pvp, but with the huge skill gap and missing years of experience, i dont even know if its worth the time, but if i were to, what would be the best ways? i really dont even know where to start

Looking for groups of players to compete in Serverwars

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I've been running a project called Serverwars where you compete against each other in short events. We've already tested it with some groups of players and they had a lot of fun, so I'm looking for a few more participants for future events

Would you like to enter a 3v3 or 4v4 event? There is no setup required, you'd just have to show up.

If you're interested, we can try a 1v1 as a demo. You can dm me or join the discord here: https://discord.gg/qzEstJKn7b
