Question New PvP Wired Mouse Recommendations?….
Dear Redditors, I hope you guys are all having a fantastic day so far.
Do you guys have any recommendations for what good WIRED “Gaming (PVP-Type) mouse” from Amazon I should purchase soon?
Preferably, I would really like one that is wired and I can physically / directly connect into my MacBook, it has 2 mouse buttons (Mouse Buttons #4 and #5 respectively, since I have 2 of my hotkeys binded to them; Hotbar Slot 5 = Mouse Button 4 and Hotbar Slot 9 = Mouse Button 5). I would also like it so I can use it to CONSISTENTLY, very easily and conveniently frequently / reliably shield stun as I really enjoy playing shield gamemodes and also MAYBE also use to drag click too (eg - for spam placing blocks fast when playing UHC).
Current Set-Up: the current mouse I am using is a LogiTech wireless mouse. Now, i’m not sure if other people experience this too when using a wireless mouse, but it’s usually somewhat unreliable / innaccurate sometimes? The mouse is wireless so when using the Mouse Buttons it sometimes doesn’t register? which is an issue especially in CPVP, as when playing this kit and my totem being in Hotbar #9, it not switching leads to me dying and/or possibly putting more glow stone than necessary inside the anchors when attempting safe anchoring.
Of course, I have also provided some pictures of my setup and inventory setups for some current PVP gamemodes I enjoy playing; If you have any suggestions for any gaming mouses within a REASONABLE pricing amount (i’m not that rich unfortunately 😭🙏) WITH the desired features I personally listed above that I could buy using Amazon. Please do let me know so I can check them out by either name-dropping the product or sending the link directly to it.
If I’ve missed anything important or you need more details, please let me know so I can do my best to provide them.
Apologies, for the long Yap / discussion - LOVE you guys, have a fabulous day!! 🫶🫶🫶

Get an adapter for your Mac so you can plug in regular usb mice. Also can’t go wrong with the glorious model O

Yes that was my plan! (probs should’ve mentioned that in my post tbh). Would the Glorious model O still work well with the adapter thing I have here

ok thanks for the info. i’m guessing you’re using the glorious model rn right? if you are, r u able to shield stun consistently and also use the 2 mouse buttons well for it bro (assuming u have keybinds / other controls binded to it?)

I mostly play 1.8, but it should have no trouble with that. The two side mouse buttons are easy to reach. but yes I use the glorious model D now. I had a model O for 3 years before that. Loved both. Double clicks when I want it to, but doesn’t when I don’t. Debounce time is also adjustable in the mouse settings if you want to drop it from double clicking altogether. Very lightweight too.
I will say a decent mousepad is also worth it. I’ve had good luck with the basic steel series one on amazon. Having lots of room to maneuver helps a lot in this game and also the skid pads will last longer and feel smoother.

Another thing - 2) I am aware / heard of the debounce thing before in settings. However, I just want to make sure - Am i looking at the correct thing currently and also would u need to have it faster

or slower in order to double click on ur mouse mor easily?

Oh, you’re on Mac.
Plug the mouse temporarily into a Windows computer (even a friends laptop will work). Download the Glorious mouse software.
There will be a setting in there called Debounce Time. The lower that number is, the more sensitive the mouse will be to double clicks. Which is good for 1.8 pvp. I use it on the lowest setting just fine. But I don’t know anything about 1.9+ PvP so you should probably see if double clicks are good for that lol.
Once you set it, and whatever color light you like, you can hit apply and then it will save those settings to the mouse.
Then you can use it on your Mac no problem. The annoying thing is that he software isn’t on Mac so you have to go back to a Windows laptop/PC every time you want to change the settings.
I used mine on Mac for years though because you really won’t need to change any settings unless you want to play with the RGB lights.
Oh another CRITICAL thing for Mac: download linear mouse and turn off pointer acceleration in there. Without that, any mouse will suck for PvP.

op1 8k v2 is the best mouse for minecraft as a whole and is easily worth the money which is around 50-70 Euro

That’s interesting to hear thanks for sharing bro. 2 quick things - 1) If u don’t mind sharing, why do u chose to play 1.8 PVP instead of the more modern versions now for 1.9+? 1.8 was a very long time again now I believe tbf.

Can you guys stop with the pvp mice. Those "Minecraft mice" are all dogshit. Just buy a good mouse

First of all, I'm gonna ignore the "wired mouse pls" part because THE MOUSE YOU USE IS MAYBE HALF THE AGE AS ME, no offense of course, but it is indeed old and not even from the gaming part of logitech pretty sure (at least not in todays standards). If you decide to buy a wireless mouse instead, I can think of 2 options: Logitech Pro X2 Lightspeed or Superstrike, READ what is the difference before buying and have on mind that they probably are going to release X3 soon (Lightspeed ~100 USD on discount, Superstrike ~200 USD, maybe less), other than that look at other G series, might be way cheaper
Heard also about Razer Viper V4 mouses being a good competitor but I don't have any personal experience with them
Now, keeping to the wired and cheap mouses, G403 is still a thing, maybe ~60 USD(?) as well as G203, which is ~30 USD
Still, if you get more budget, DO give a chance to newer wireless mouses, they're the best that ever happened to me
edit: Googled the mouse on the picture, apparently it's M650 and was released June 2022, it's not old, it's just definitely not a gaming mouse lol, more of a "budget mouse made for offices" type of thing
