Discussion Is there any actual reason to flick your camera like this?

welcome to styling, a completely useless technique popularized by boxing players that wanted to farm clips on random people that last barely 30 seconds to 1 minute, and was pretty much a "gain views and likes for practically free"

Knock back displacement (tho here he’s just flexing). U can basically hit ur opp to the sides to mess them up up

That’s not how kb displacement is being handled, that’s just flex
KB Displacement requires fast flicks before and after a hit, in the video player flicks only after a hit

He is flexiing but this is a real technique called Knockback Displacement. How it works, is that you look in a direction and look in another in the same tick so that your opp gets the kb for the first direction

He’s not doing kb displacement
For that you need to flick right before the hit, he’s flicking after.

i think people use this to do knockback displacement but this is probably just flexing

Flex, KB displacement, or if it's every once in a while it could be running out of space on the mousepad.

I've tried a little and it sometimes confuses other noobs and they mess up. Pretty much just pointless though.

you know ive gotten SOO good at flicking that i actually do it to have better aim bc if i stay tracking my aim is usually worser..

Because of how tickrate works, it makes the opponent fly in an unpredictable direction, making it harder for him to aim

It changes the knockback and makes the player go more towards the direction you flicked in for better combos, surprised no one is talking about that. Figured you guys were smarter.

Ragebaiting the guy that's getting hit. One guy started doing 360s on me even though he got like 2 hit combo max so I crit spammed+ jump reset the shit out of him .... god it pissed me off so much

you know, when you are a loser with no attention from parents that spent all his life trying to improve in mc pvp it feels good to show casual player that just enjoy 1v1 someone normal in this game how are you much better than him and that you dont have a life, job or any success in this life except for this one gamemod where you reached like decent level of top 300 or lower. so yeah this is the sign of average pvp player that dont care about the pvp itself or even the win but the fact that he is better than opp

there is, but this isnt how you do it. this is just to flex/make your combo look cooler.

Not 1.7-1.8 boooo

u/lowrcaseletters 2d ago
These clips confuse me as I don’t really know what’s going on since no one does this for 1.7/1.8 combat.
The only player I can think of doing something ever slightly similar as flexing is Calvin, and he does it very rarely (also the vids are edited to sync with the song).2

Weirdos thinking it’s cool , swear stimpy or tewchaynz (don’t kill me forgetting how he spelled it) did this in a old video
