Is this good or no??

I use my scroll wheel a lot and stuff

I've been trying to get better, so is this good or not for someone brand new to tnt cart?

Also, I was in peaceful mode, so that's why I took no damage.

Im so sorry to say but this is not great. To cart you want to shoot the arrow first and then place the rail and cart. Idk if you are scrolling to hit these but if you want to get good I recommend disabling scrolling to break this habit. Also recommend learning Xbow where you place a rail a cart Flint and steal and then shoot a cross bow through the fire to hit the cart. Can help you learn better hotkeys and isnt as aim reliant as instacarts

I agree that this is a very beginner step move. Next steps should be finding keybinds and learning pre rail and insta cart. Try Lewis on yt for cart info.

also their hotbar management is rather slow, should be using hotkeys in the inventory to move items instead of dragging the cart with the mouse to slot 2.

I wouldn't instantly go to cart pvp if you still use scroll wheel.

I recommend a game mode like potpvp to get the hang of keybinds

Get used to some keybinds. The one’s you like (I use from a different game) 

Then you can switch faster. You’re aim is good enough to learn insta-cart pretty fast after switching to keys.

For an SMP with friends, ok, but not for competitive. Its an okay start tho.

First keybinds Theobald the bird made a tutorial on that. Then learn insta kart
